Giants' offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride chuckled when he was asked if he felt slighted that he only was given just one new player via the draft, guard Mitch Petrus, a fifth-round pick.

"Selfishly we wish we had gotten a few players," Gilbride said. "Fortunately, I think we feel good about the players we have coming back."

Gilbride, like head coach Tom Coughlin, is hoping that the Giants' offense rebounds from a subpar 2009 season that saw the running game, the team's usual strength, fail to produce a 1,000-yard rusher for the first time in Coughlin's tenure as head coach.
