Okay, so it's Thursday morning and you know what, I'm still not over Sunday's game. Really, I'm not. I still can't believe what I saw. It was absolutely amazing. This is the Eli I've been waiting for for two years now. I remember the game against the Broncos last year, but this one was soooooo much better. On the road, in Phili nonetheless, down 17 points in the 4th quarter. I'll be honest with you, I was actually not watching most of the game. That was because I had to help my cousin move, but also because I had such a bad sports weekend. Down 17, I couldn't take anymore, so I put in a motivation movie and I would flick back every once in a while. Then I noticed the Eagles had stopped scoring and moving the ball. Then the fourth quarter started. And we scored. And we scored again. Suddenly with a minute and a half left, we had the ball, down 3. And we started to drive on them and finally set up for the tieing field goal and bam. Overtime. At this point, I stopped watching my movie and concentrated on the game. Then overtime came. I can still see Eli drop back, throw the ball off of his back foot. Now, I was thinking that he was going to throw the ball away so we could kick the field goal, but then all of a sudden Plaxico came into the picture. He jumped, caught the ball, came down, and scored! No flags, the game was over. Holy cow, I didn't think we had a chance to win that game, but we did. Bring on Seattle.
